Alonzo Flack (1852)
Alonzo Flack graduated from Union College in 1849 before he enrolled at the Biblical Institute. He became the principal of a new school Charlotteville, New York started by the New York conference. After the school buildings burned in 1854, he became the principal of the Hudson River Institute. The Institute was chartered as a college by the Regents of the University of the State of New York and renamed Claverack College in 1869. He died in 1885.
