Upward Bound Math Science is part of the federally-funded TRIO programs, whose purpose is to prepare low-income and first-generation college bound students for success in higher education.  Upward Bound Math Science helps students recognize and develop their potential to excel in math and science and to encourage them to pursue post-secondary degrees in those subjects. Students remain in the program through high school graduation. Services include after school tutoring and test-preparation, school vacation week science lab experiences, and a 6-week residential summer program.
