Engineering Product Innovation Center Construction Activity for the Period of April 8 – April 12
Anticipated construction activities for the week of April 8 – April 12:
1. Site Work – The contractor has completed the foundation for the new concrete slab. They will now begin to prepare the surface under the slab for the installation of the new utility pipes that will go under the slab..
2. Abatement – The contractor has completed the first phase of asbestos abatement on the ceiling on the first floor of 750 Comm Ave. (the old Guitar Center space).
3. Demolition – The contractor will continue the demolition of the interior walls of 750 Comm Ave.
4. Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing – The contractor will continue to prepare any project-related mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for subsequent demolition and/or construction. Building occupants will experience no effects from this work.
