Research Interest and Current Research Activities
Dr. Dimant’s primary research interest is in collisional plasma theory. Current active research topics include:

  1. Theoretical studies of plasma instabilities at the lower ionosphere and related macroscopic phenomena
  2. Theory and simulations of meteor plasma and related phenomena
  3. Ionosphere-Magnetosphere coupling through anomalous conductivity
  4. Theoretical studies of plasma instabilities at the Solar chromosphere

Publications
Authored and co-authored about 90 papers in peer-reviewed journals and collections of papers. Made more than 150 presentations at various national and international conferences and workshops.
