Seventy-five undergraduate apartments on Bay State Road and South Campus received makeovers this summer. The residences at 96 and 98 Mountfort Street; 74 St. Mary’s Street; 94, 115, 139, 173, 214 Bay State Road; and 870 & 872 Beacon Street got new kitchen cabinets and counters, ENERGY STAR®* appliances, bathroom fixtures, electrical upgrades, new sprinkler systems, plus new paint and carpeting. The upgrades improved living conditions for 149 undergraduate students. This is the 4th year of our initiative to improve our undergraduate apartment and suite style housing. With this summer’s renovations, we have done major renovations to over 200 units which house more than 500 students.
