Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month Kickoff Social
BU Diversity & Inclusion hosted an Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month Kickoff Social at the Howard Thurman Center for Common Ground on May 1. Among the students feasting on some Korean and Chinese cuisine were Sungmin Hwang (ENG’24) (from left), Youssef Haider (ENG’24), and Aidan Chan (ENG’24). The kickoff social, with free food, music, and a raffle, provided space for the BU community to gather and connect in partnership with the Korean Student Association, the Center for the Study of Asia, and the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences.
