About

Our research effort has two overarching themes:
- Improving access to quality healthcare among vulnerable communities (refugees, internally displaced, historically oppressed and marginalized communities) both locally and globally, using a suite of multi-disciplinary approaches rooted in engineering, basic and computational sciences, social sciences and evidence-based public health. We are interested in not just discovery but also devote our time and effort on working with local policy makers and on-the-ground communities to develop ethical, context-appropriate solutions.
- Understanding fundamental processes that regulate cellular form and function that drive antimicrobial resistance in the environment and in healthcare settings.
