Rashmina Sayeeda

Rashmina Sayeeda is a Post-Baccalaureate Research Fellow in the Zaman Lab and Center on Forced Displacement. Rashmina has her B.A. in Neuroscience from Boston University and was previously a research assistant at the Zaman Lab. Rashmina’s research focuses on exploring the ethics of conducting research within vulnerable and underserved communities, examining disabilities related to migration, and understanding the impact of the gut-brain axis on the gut microbiome in infant and maternal health in refugee settings. Outside of the lab, Rashmina loves cooking new recipes with friends and family, gardening, and collecting memorabilia and photos that she plans to scrapbook eventually.
