Each semester dozens of student teams work on projects across each of the courses in the Cross-College Challenge. Below are just a few examples of the types of final deliverables produced for community partners within and beyond BU.
Boosting BlueBikes Usage on BU Campus
This featured project, undertaken by BU students, aimed to increase the awareness and usage of BlueBikes across the BU campus as a sustainable transportation solution. The students conducted a comprehensive survey and launched a social campaign to understand the barriers to bike usage and propose strategic solutions.

Slowing Down to Save Lives: Speed Humps in Boston
Discover how T3AM, comprising students Neha Dsouza, Gabriel Gibin Libman, Cameron Hughes, Jarrett Jou, and Stefan Pretorius, address road safety in Boston. Their project, part of the class “A Story on Every Street: Exploring Walkability in Boston,” focuses on the impact of speed humps on slowing traffic and enhancing pedestrian safety across various Boston streets.
