Welcome to BU’s first generation college student* program!
The USC is pleased to welcome our trailblazers, students entering BU for 2015-2016 who are the first, or among the first generation, in their families to attend college. Congratulations on your achievements to date, we are confident these are just the first of many more!
Through the First Gen(eration) Connect program, the USC serves as a resource for students to ensure a smooth and successful transition from high school to college life and beyond. If you are the first, or among the first in your family to go to college, welcome to our vibrant University community! * First generation college students are those in the first generation of their families to go to college–i.e. students whose parents did not earn bachelor’s degrees, although elder siblings and cousins may be attending college already or have earned four-year degrees.
