Pamela Templer is a Professor in the Department of Biology at Boston University where she directs the Graduate Program in Biogeoscience and the National Science Foundation funded Graduate Traineeship Program in Urban Biogeoscience and Environmental Health. Dr. Templer’s research focuses on climate change effects on biogeochemical cycling of nitrogen and carbon in forest ecosystems and how urbanization impacts soil, water, and air quality. She is an active member of the Science Policy Exchange, an organization that is dedicated to using scientific findings to influence policy decisions, conservation, and natural resources management.
