PY371: Creating, and Building, an Invention
Gautam Chasmawala (CAS’25) presents his Electronics Lab project, a single-handed keyboard, to EPIC electronics advisor Eric Hazen during the Annual Open House April 28. Students in PY371, Electronics Lab, learn how to build electronics and create an invention, which must include a sensor, a microprocessor, and an actuator. Chasmawala‘s device aims to help doctors using mouse-focused software and needing to keep one hand occupied, so they often use voice-input devices. But in more open clinics, this can lead to patient privacy issues. Photo by Jackie Ricciardi
