Lobster Night: A Delicious, and Wildly Popular, Yearly Event
BU’s annual Lobster Night, begun in 1985, was held at Marciano Commons, Warren Towers, and West Campus September 24 and is one of BU Dining’s most popular annual events: traditional lobster served with potatoes, corn, blueberry cobbler, and more. Iris Nicholson (Wheelock’29) (from left), Sadie Welsh (CAS’29), Amira Horowitz (COM’29), Camryn Prunier (CDS’29), and Shyana Katish (Wheelock’29) enjoyed theirs at Marciano Commons. Dining Services 2025 estimates: 9,750 lobsters from Cape Ann Lobstermen, 3,000 pounds of potatoes, 4,620 ears of corn, 400 pounds of butternut squash, 160 pounds of celery, and 20 bushels of bell peppers served.
