Readying the Booth for The Ceremony
Described as "a vibrant, heartwarming celebration of love intertwining Nigerian and Nepali cultures,” The Ceremony premieres at the Joan & Edgar Booth Theatre September 11. Scenic artists Amelia Gossett (CFA’12,’15) (center) and Sarah Busick (COM’19, CFA’26) work in the Booth’s main paint shop in August on what will be the floor for the play. Written by Mfoniso Udofi and produced by CHUANG Stage in association with the School of Theatre and Boston Playwrights’ Theatre, The Ceremony will run at the Booth through October 5.
