5th and 6th Graders Visit BU for 2024 Stem Week
For STEM Week 2024, 70 fifth and sixth graders from Boston’s Trotter Elementary School visited the Charles River Campus October 25. Hosted by BU Government & Community Affairs and Wheelock College of Education & Human Development, the group started with STEM experiments at Wheelock, like this kinetic sand station run by Zoe Carpene (Wheelock’26) (right, in gray) and Sarah Daniel (Wheelock’25) (in red). They also visited the Center for Computing & Data Sciences and ENG’s Robotics & Autonomous Systems Teaching and Innovation Center (RASTIC) and Engineering Product Innovation Center (EPIC).
