A Beloved Annual Christmas Tradition at BU
Marsh Chapel’s annual Service of Christmas Lessons and Carols is one of the University’s most popular events. Inspired by the 105-year-old Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols held each year on Christmas Eve at King’s College, Cambridge University, the Chapel offers this spectacular and festive service each year as a gift to its communities. The Marsh Chapel Choir, the Inner Strength Gospel Choir, the School of Theology’s Seminary Singers, led by Rev. Chad William Kidd (above), and the Majestic Brass Quintet provided the music for this year’s service, the 51st, held December 6 and 8. Photo by Eric Haynes
