COM Class: How to Win a Client’s Business
Clara Zhou (COM’27) and her team wait for a strategy check-in with their professor, Shawn Zupp, for their Introduction to Advertising course August 1. The six groups were assigned different brands (three for new plant-based food company NotCo and three for water gear company Stanley). The groups then competed to win that client’s business with their advertising recommendations (the way it works in the industry). On this day, groups were reviewing and discussing their plan’s strategy section, analyzing the company’s business and creating a brief to direct advertising ideas. Photo by Cydney Scott
