AI for Drug Discovery Innovation Forum
Yvonne Hao, Secretary of the Bay State Executive Office of Economic Development, spoke at BU’s AI for Drug Discovery Innovation Forum, held at the BU Center for Computing & Data Sciences October 30. The forum’s purpose was to establish a world-class open research community to drive the development, evaluation, and large-scale adoption of AI foundation models for accelerated scientific advancements for drug discovery. Hosted by the Hariri Institute for Computing and Computational Science & Engineering and the BU Bioengineering Technology Entrepreneurship Center, in partnership with RedHat, IBM, the Cleveland Clinic, the AI Alliance, and the Mass Open Cloud Alliance, it featured remarks from experts from private industry, healthcare providers, academia, the NIH, and state government.
