Marsh Chapel Celebrates 50th Service of Lessons and Carols
This year, on December 8 and 10, Marsh Chapel held its 50th Service of Christmas Lessons and Carols. The liturgy for one of the University’s most popular annual events is inspired by the 105-year-old Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols held each year on Christmas Eve at Cambridge University’s King’s College. The Marsh Chapel Choir, the School of Theology’s Seminary Singers, the Inner Strength Gospel Choir, and the Majestic Brass Quintet provided the music for this year’s service. Marsh Chapel offers this special and festive service each year as a gift to the BU community. Photo by Jacob Chang-Rascle (COM’22)
