Bay State‘s “Catatonic, the Musical” Airs December 15
BUTV10’s Bay State, the country’s longest running college soap opera (on the air since 1991), follows students at the fictional Beacon Hill College as they navigate young adulthood (replete with sex, drugs, and murder). Its first-ever musical episode, titled “Catatonic: the Musical,” with music and lyrics by the show’s writers, will air December 15. It follows a paralyzed and confused Cat—Rachel Mannix (CAS’26) (in bed)—grappling with her boyfriend Danny’s death, his cheating with ex-girlfriend Alana, and her murderer brother, Kip—Kai Farr (COM’25) (center)—while trying to decipher Zac, who has stabbed her.
