BU Brazilian Association’s Festa Junina

The annual Festas Juninas (June Festivals) run throughout June in Brazil. Also known as Festas de São João to celebrate the birth of St. John the Baptist (June 24), the annual Brazilian celebrations are adapted from European midsummer celebrations.
