Home, on the BU Beach
Home, a public art project by Kabita Das (CFA’20), is on display through April 18 behind Marsh Chapel. As participants, like Alex Barnes (CAS’24), move through the space, they can interact with hand-carved objects engraved with words, phrases, and drawings. “The way we understand home is the way we understand space. We all have our own definition of space and boundaries…shaped by our individual experiences and understandings of home… These definitions influence how we behave in public, shared spaces… It encourages participants to understand this influence more deeply and to reconsider how they share space with others.” Photo by Jackie Ricciardi
