Champions Still: Head of the Charles

The world’s largest three-day regatta, held in BU’s backyard, brings scores of rowers and hundreds of thousands of visitors each year. The 2022 Head of the Charles, October 21 to 23, saw the launch of 11 Terrier boats, representing all three Division I crew programs, men’s and women’s openweight and women’s lightweight. And this year, BU was represented by an alumni crew and three alumnae crews on Saturday, highlighted by the Senior Master Eights, which featured graduates from the 1991 and 1992 national championship varsity eight crew. Among 29 crews, the Terrier contingent finished 7th, with a time of 18:35.682. Photo by Matt Woolverton
