National Champions—Times 4

It’s a dynasty! The BU Figure Skating Club won its fourth consecutive national title on April 3, earning gold at the National Intercollegiate Final in Adrian, Mich. The Terrier skaters bested 15 teams from across the country in the first national competition since the pandemic. “This accomplishment means so much to this team,” says Noelle Flanagan (ENG’24). “After two years without competitions, we went into Nationals with almost a completely new roster. Every single team member has worked incredibly hard these past few months, and we are beyond proud to continue the legacy of BU figure skating.” Led by coaches Andrea Mohns-Brillaud (COM’87) and Andrew Miller Korda (MET’21), the club boosted its status as one of BU’s most decorated, winning its first national title in 2009 and never finishing outside the top three since.
