Fresh Food (and More) for Fall
No need to travel far for fresh produce each spring and fall—Dining Services popular Farmers’ Market fills the bill each Thursday, 11 am to 2 pm, through October 27 at the GSU Plaza. Amy Fam (CAS’25) (left) and Lara Werneck (CAS’23) are checking out the veggies, but also on offer are plants, kombucha, vegan treats, cookies and granola, and more. New this year is a community food waste collection to divert food waste to composting—drop off food waste at BU Sustainability’s table between 11 am and 1 pm. FYI: today’s market is on Marsh Plaza, part of the BU Sustainability Festival. Photo by Ziyu (Julian) Zhu (CGS’23)
