BU Black Law Students Association Celebration
The BU Black Law Students Association 52nd Annual Conference and Awards Gala, with the theme Continuing the Marathon for Equal Justice, Celebrating Black Joy and Excellence, was held April 9 at the Metcalf Trustee Ballroom. The first such gala in three years because of COVID, the evening was particularly festive, with a cocktail reception, a 360 photo booth, a live DJ, and an awards ceremony. Tanisha Sullivan, president of the Boston branch of the NAACP, was a keynote speaker. Sullivan (right) and Angela Onwuachi-Willig, dean of the School of Law, had some fun with the photo booth.
