Remembering LGBTQIA+ People Lost to Violence
November 20 is the annual Transgender Day of Remembrance. Trans Listening Circle treasurer Kaiden Kane (Sargent’21) (center) and circle members placed 400 trans flags on Alpert Mall (aka the BU Beach) November 19 in remembrance of the 375 LGBTQIA+ people reported murdered internationally within the last year. The aim of the Center for Gender, Sexuality, and Activism Trans Listening Circle is to draw attention to the continued violence against transgender people. Photo by Jake Belcher
