Photo of Emma Neary (Wheelock’23), left, smiling, as Grace Sullivan (COM’23), laughs while painting pumpkins in Marsh Plaza October 20. Neary wears jeans with holes at the knees and holds a pumpkin upside down as she paints pink stripes with white dots. Sullivan wears jeans and a white new york sweatshirt and sits on the curb in front of her pumpkin which is painted with blue waves.

Fall? Pumpkins, of Course

To carve or to paint, that is the question: whether ’tis more fun to make a mess with paint or with a carving tool. Emma Neary (Wheelock’23) (left) and Grace Sullivan (COM’23) obviously have no regrets about their choice. The October 20 pumpkin decorating event on Marsh Plaza was courtesy of the Community Service Center, which provided the pumpkins and painting supplies. Photo by Cydney Scott
