OT Heartbreaker for Field Hockey

The top-seeded field hockey Terriers, minus seven players—five starters and both goalkeepers—came just short of another Patriot League title April 24, losing to Bucknell 2-1 in overtime at BU’s New Balance Field. BU gave the Bison all they could handle despite playing shorthanded because of pandemic protocols, with only two substitutes and freshman midfielder Pili Alvarez (CAS’24) in goal.
