Hands-on at Booth Theatre

Costume: an outfit worn to create the appearance characteristic of a particular period, person, place, or thing (Merriam-Webster). Costumes “help tell the story, they help actors get into character, and they immediately tell the audience something about what’s going on,” according to the Theatrefolk website. So for CFA’s Costume Production students, like Alison Miranda (CFA’22), hands-on learning is essential, and the CFA Booth Theatre Production Center gives them that experience.
