2020 Reach Dance Performance

Reach, BU’s Summer Outreach Dance/Teen Apprenticeship Dance Program, celebrated its 30th anniversary this year, with pandemic restrictions. Directed by BU Dance Program director Micki Taylor-Pinney, Reach provides training and mentorship to teens and brings dance performances and workshops to Greater Boston neighborhood centers. Mentored by college interns and professionals, 13 teen apprentices created dances that represent their diverse training and cultural heritage.
