Sweet research
Melts in your experiment, not in your hand? Materials science doctoral candidate Arman Guerra (ENG’23) usually uses tiny irregular-shaped rocks in his research on building a stable structure that will withstand harsh environments, like a tornado. But once in a while, he uses an item with a double function: M&Ms. “It’s good for the research but bad for my health,” Guerra says. Photo by Aaron Ye (COM’23)
