23rd Annual BU Holiday Reading Program

BU student-athletes visited eight Boston public elementary schools December 12 and 13 to read, and give a BU-donated book, to the students through the annual Holiday Reading Program, held in conjunction with BU Government and Community Affairs. The 260 Terriers, from all 24 varsity teams, read to more than 570 youngsters, and each classroom also got a donated book. Women’s rowing team members Kate Horton (CAS’20) (left) and Grace Beery (CAS’22) participated at Horace Mann Elementary School.
