Sargent College, founded in 1887 by Dudley Sargent, became part of BU in 1929, and in 1932, the University purchased Sargent Camp, in Peterborough, N.H. For decades, the college operated the camp and developed year-round programs for BU students and young people from near and far. These Sargent students appear to be enjoying the camp’s Halfmoon Pond in this June 1958 photo. Boston University photo
