Not a Superpumpkin, as the audience below could attest when the squashed squash splattered into hundreds of pulpy pieces after plunging from the roof of the Metcalf Science Center Friday. During the world-famous (well, BU-famous anyway) annual physics department Pumpkin Drop, the gargantuan gourds filled with various substances are dropped in the name of science.
