Happy, Healthy Hug
Will Lautzenheiser (CAS’96, COM’07), a former lecturer at the College of Communication who lost his arms and legs three years ago to a virulent group A streptococcal infection that evolved to necrotizing fasciitis, has been given two new arms by surgeons at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. While he can’t yet apply pressure to his arms, Lautzenheiser was happy to demonstrate that he now can once again hug his partner, Angel Gonzalez, at a press conference yesterday.
