Jack Parker’s Final Home Game
The end of an era: men’s hockey coach Jack Parker’s final home game—a 5-3 victory Saturday over Merrimack in the Hockey East quarterfinals—after almost five decades as a hockey Terrier, first a player, next an assistant coach, then, since 1973, head coach. Last week, Parker (SMG’68, Hon.’97) announced his retirement. Friday it’s on to the conference semifinals at TD Garden. Photo by Brian Kelley
