Metcalf Explosion
More than a dozen fire trucks responded yesterday afternoon to a small fire at the Metcalf Center for Science & Engineering on Comm Ave, believed to have been caused by the explosion of a transformer. The building was evacuated. No one was injured, and hundreds of students basked in the summer-like weather. Photo by Nicole Rojas (COM’12)
