Nashid (Nash) Fulcher is originally from Buffalo, NY, and is quick to remind you that it’s the best city in the world. Nash is a junior in the College of Communication with a major in public relations and a concentration in psychology.

“I love the HTC because it is the first space on campus that I saw people who look like me engaging in activities together,” she said. Nash first discovered our space during a campus tour and eventually found her way into the center through Tea Time, one of our weekly programs. “Tea Time gave me a sense of community that I hadn’t found on campus during my freshman and sophomore years.” Since then, Nash has become an HTC ambassador and now leads Book Club (on Mondays through the spring semester).

In her free time, you can find Nash asking hard hitting questions like “Who is the best rapper ever?” and ranting about pop culture. She also works as an activities consultant at the Student Activities Office and serves as the Chief Marketing Officer of Charcoal, a publication that celebrates and creates space for students of color at Boston University.
