This week’s Coffee & Conversation topic: The Verdict is In. Join us on Zoom this Friday, April 23 at 3 PM EST. Passcode: 777017

This week a Minnesota jury found former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin guilty on all the counts he faced over the death of George Floyd. Since testimony in this trial began on March 29, more than three people a day have died at the hands of law enforcement across the country. While the verdict in this case is a positive step and provides some accountability, the work towards true justice for all continues.

Join us this Friday as we process the trial of Derek Chauvin, the death of George Floyd, and the history of racial injustice and police brutality in America.
