Kendra Holt Moore is a Ph.D. Candidate specializing in Psychology of Religion at the Graduate Program in Religion. She previously graduated with a Bachelor of Behavioral Sciences from Hardin-Simmons University and a Master of Theological Studies from Boston University. Kendra is now Assistant Professor of Religion at Bethany College in Lindsborg, KS. Drawing primarily from findings in Terror Management Theory and the study of emotions, her dissertation research investigates the role of death anxiety in religious experiences by observing instances of religious awe. When she is not reading and writing, Kendra enjoys practicing Tai Chi, backpacking, and spending time with her cat, Momo.
