Attash is a Ph.D. Student at Boston University in the Graduate Program in Religion specializing in Islamic Studies under Professor Teena Purohit. His research interests include reception of the Qur’an in South Asia and the intellectual tradition & history of South Asian Ismailis from the 18th century to the present day. He has worked as an RE Educator with ITREB for Pakistan for several years. He holds an MA in Muslim Cultures from the Aga Khan University’s Institute for the Study of Muslim Civilisations (AKU-ISMC) and an MBA from the Institute of Business Administration, Karachi.
