Dr. Roger A. Sneed is Professor of Religion at Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina. He is the author of Representations of Homosexuality: Black Theology and Cultural Criticism (2010) and The Dreamer and the Dream: Afrofuturism and Black Religious Thought (2021). He is currently completing a manuscript tentatively titled Looking Heaven in the Eye: Towards a Constructive Theology of Empathy
