GDRS Alum Dr. Lauren Kerby Will Publish Inaugural Book for Where Religion Lives series
Dr. Lauren Kerby’s book, Saving History: How White Evangelicals Tour the Nation’s Capital and Redeem a Christian America, is forthcoming from the University of North Carolina Press this spring. It will be the first book released for the new Where Religion Lives series, which “publishes ethnographies of religious life throughout the Americas, featuring the methods of religious studies along with anthropological approaches to lived religion.”
Dr. Kerby is an education specialist and lecturer at the Harvard Religious Literacy Project.
