BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH

Alyssa M. Farley received her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey in 2019. She completed her pre-doctoral clinical internship in the Child Program at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. She then completed her postdoctoral fellowship at the Boston University Center for Anxiety and Related Disorders in the Child and Adolescent Fear and Anxiety Treatment Program before joining the faculty in 2022.

RESEARCH INTERESTS

Dr. Farley’s research focuses on improving the identification of youth mental health concerns, as well as the accessibility and effectiveness of youth mental health interventions. She has conducted research on large-scale screening initiatives, preventive interventions, and services provided in schools and pediatric health settings. Additional areas of interest include stepped-care models, parent/caregiver-focused interventions, and leveraging technology to increase treatment accessibility.
