Pearl Hu and Lisa Smith are featured “Into the Breach”, an article on how BU community members are stepping up to fight the pandemic. In April, they and the Center for Anxiety and Related Disorders set up a support line for nurses on the pandemic’s frontlines.

CARD Researchers Featured in Chronicle Segments

WCVB Boston’s Chronicle (May 2, 2019) highlights anxiety treatments performed at the Department’s Center for Anxiety and Related Disorders. PBS Professors Todd Farchione and Yupei Pearl Hu and PBS PhD student Joseph Carpenter work to help patients to overcome their claustrophobia and fear of flying. 

Prof. Michael Otto Wins APA Award

Congratulations to PBS Professor Michael Otto, the 2019 winner of the APA Division 12 Award for Distinguished Scientific Contributions to Clinical Psychology. The award ceremony will be held at the annual APA meeting in August.
