Fellow
One of the unique features of the PROSTARS Program is that it offers a fellowship for a community college science faculty member from a nearby community college to conduct research in one of the participating Boston University science laboratories. The goals of the faculty fellowship is to establish a long-term relationship between the visiting faculty member and the host Boston University research group. The fellowship comes with a $7000 summer stipen.
The 2007 Faculty Fellow was Professor Karen Atkinson of Bunker Hill Community College who conducted research in the laboratory of Professor Larry Ziegler.
