Unarmed Robbery 3/24/2009 at 10:10 PM

Unarmed Robbery:  Victim reports being mugged at the staircase between Beacon St and Blandford St by 2 Hispanic males on 3/24/2009 at 10:10 PM.  No weapon was used in the incident.

U.S. DEPARTMENT OF STATE Travel Alert: Mexico

U.S. DEPARTMENT OF STATE is reporting an increase of violence in Mexico.  While millions of U.S. citizens safely visit Mexico each year (including thousands who cross the land border every day for study, tourism or business), violence in the country has increased recently.  It is imperative that travelers understand the risks of travel to Mexico, how best to avoid dangerous situations, and whom to contact if one becomes a crime victim.  Common-sense precautions such as visiting only legitimate business and tourist areas during daylight hours, and avoiding areas where prostitution and drug dealing might occur, can help ensure that travel to Mexico is safe and enjoyable.
 

Identification needed for suspicious male party

BU Police are seeking any information on the identity of a male party.  He is a possible suspect in a  laptop theft at 654 Beacon St.

Missing Bronze Statue

BUPD is requesting any information on a missing Bronze statue of a dog that was last seen on the 5th floor of 808 Commonwealth Av.

Robbery inside Kenmore T station

On 2/5/2008 at 5:40 PM A male party reported being robbed by 2 black males in the underground Kenmore T Station.

Unarmed Robbery by 590 Commonwealth Av (New information added)

Female victim reports that she was robbed of her cell phone by 3 men on 1/29/2009.  Updated 2/2/2009.

Attempted Robbery

A female party reports that she was grabbed from behind and the suspect attempted to take her cell phone from her pocket.
