Female Student Assaulted on the BU Bridge

A female BU student was assaulted on the Beacon St. Bridge. The student was walking alone across the bridge at between 9:00 pm and 9:30 pm on April 18, 2007, when she was stopped by one of two men. After a brief conversation the man grabbed the student and sexually assaulted her. She fought back and was knocked to the ground and kicked. She managed to flee the area and returned to her dormitory. She describes the man who assaulted her as being in his mid to late 20’s, 5’11” to 6′, average build. He was wearing a dark sweatshirt with the hood pulled up. His companion, who did not take part in the assault, was about 5’9″, and was wearing a dark sweatshirt with what might have been a Red Sox logo.
