Attempted Robbery 855 Commonwealth Av
On 10/2/2010 at 12:35PM the victim reports that she was sitting on the bench by 855 Commonwealth Av when a female and white male sat next to her on the bench. She further stated that the Asian female placed her hand on the victim’s sweater which was covering her purse. The victim and the suspect then struggled for possession of the purse. The female suspect then stood up and grabbed at 2 gold chains hanging from the victim’s neck. After a brief struggle the female let go of the chains and she and the male suspect got up and walked away on Commonwealth Av. The victim stated that the female or male did not say anything during the Robbery attempt. The victim described the suspect as an Asian female 20 – 25 years old wearing a white rimmed hat and black stretch pants, with black hair and straight cut hair across her bangs (forehead). Suspect 2 was described as a white male 20 to 25 years of age with dark pants and curly brown hair just covering his ears. Officers checked the area and were not able to locate the suspects.
